How it works
Every day, three new clues land — the same three for everyone. Two are pun clues. The third is a cryptic.
Each pun clue collides two subjects — polar exploration × romance, or decorating × the chippy. Then there's the cryptic: one answer, one definition, hidden in plain sight.
Three minutes on the timer. Fire off as many puns as you can — each scored 0 to 10 the moment time's up, from a modest Pungent to the coveted Punderful.
Then everyone votes on each other's puns. The world crowns the day's funniest for the Hall of Fame — climb the global leaderboard, or start a private league with friends.

One of the three daily clues is a cryptic. It works like a cryptic crossword clue — a definition and some wordplay, folded together — and you fill in the answer letter by letter. "Dried-fruit reported on the evening news? (7,7)" is CURRANT AFFAIRS. You get as many goes as you can fit into the three minutes, and the app shows you how the wordplay came apart once you've solved it.
Three minutes per clue. The timer starts when you open the clue, and everything you've submitted is scored the moment it runs out. Premium players get one bonus pun after the buzzer.
Each pun is scored out of ten by an AI judge across four axes: how well it fits the theme, how well it fits the context, the quality of the phrasing, and how clever it is.
